Join me for a hands-on mosaic workshop in Bedminster, Bristol, where you'll learn the techniques, tools and creative process behind contemporary mosaic art. Whether you're completely new to mosaics or looking to develop your creative skills, this welcoming one-day workshop is designed to help you create a unique piece of your own from start to finish.
Working with ceramic tile and professional mosaic tools, you'll learn how to design, cut, shape, lay and grout your mosaic while receiving individual guidance throughout the day. You can choose to follow one of my designs or bring your own idea, making the experience as structured or as creative as you wish.
By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a finished mosaic measuring approximately 250mm x 250mm, along with the skills and confidence to continue exploring mosaic art at home.

Meet your instructor
Michael Henry
I'm Michael Henry, founder of Broken Stone Mosaics. After a career-ending injury led me to re-evaluate my path, I dedicated more time to my passion for creating art and haven't looked back since.
Over the years my mosaic work has been exhibited in galleries internationally and collected by private clients around the world. Most recently I created work live at Upfest 2026, one of Europe's best-known street art festivals. Alongside my own artistic practice, I enjoy sharing the techniques and creative possibilities of mosaic art with others through welcoming, beginner-friendly workshops.
My aim is simple: to help you create something you're genuinely proud of while enjoying a creative day away from the pressures of everyday life.
